Yaknow how it goes, if you want something done right - do it yourself ;D

In lieu of recent posts and whatnot I figured I'd dip mah toes in yonder waters and see what kinda interest there was in running a psuedo pug 25 icc on weekends for "decently" geared alts or unloved mains only. Carrying a few people is just fine, but I doubt anyone wants to spend 4 hours wiping their way to Saurfang. Ideally your toon has at least ~iLVL 232 gear or higher.

So, if this were to go down this is what I propose:
  • I'm aiming for Friday, start @ ~10ish server and stop @ Saurfang.
  • I'd prefer to keep this in the family - ZT + friends of ZT. Bring whoever you like as long as they're competent and not just 'cause they're your friend.
  • Loot would be master looted and rolled on, mainspec/offspec priority. One need, one greed per unless you're the only one rollin.
  • Since this is an alt run consumables are a must (bring flasks/buff food/pots/ammo/gold to repair).
  • If for some reason we continue to fail on the same boss for whatever reason, I'll most likely call it. I figure 2-3 attempts to learn a fight is acceptable, beyond that it's simply not.
  • No bullshit, no drama. Bring a 6 pack and your game faces.
  • I will not run this without good tanks and heals. Good = tank/heals is your mainspec and you've got the gear to support it.

This is of course just an idea at the moment. If you or anyone you know might be interested please post here with your toon's name, class, and spec - or contact me in game on shweezy/shwii.

I've been completely focused on my Priest however my shaman could probably heal one or my dk could pump out some dps...

Furthermore if there is an alt ICC 10man going on this weekend holla at ya boi! cause I'd like some badgers.

My Druid is mostly 232-245 for both tanking and healing I would be willing to go do either.

We also had almost 10 people in noobodontists not get into ICC on their Mains this week.

If you can throw a calendar inv to druidoff I will inv the mains from noobs who weren't able to make it into ICC this week.

Rofl asrel.. I've still got a stack banked on shwii for a "special" occasion.

Calendar invites went out for Friday, 10 pm server. I'm kinda just mass inviting, if I invited the wrong toon lemme know. If you can't do it hit decline.. blablabla. =]

We're lookin kinda hunter heavy; no rogues yet. 1 Shammy, but I think that's wrong.. haha.

Still need ~3 pro heals, we might be good on tanks, but I gotta double check.

Anywho, hit me up in game for an inv on shweezy/shwii!

You should probably set some sort of minimum on the DPS as there's really no reason not to be pushing 4k+ these days.

For sure. 4k+ dps is completely reasonable.

This last run was, unfortunately, more of a test run than anything. I honestly haven't run "fresh content" raids since AQ20/40 was hot shit. Plenty of mistakes were made that I don't intend to repeat. Chalk it up to rustyness :)

This is of course, first and foremost meant to be an alt run. I think we did good last week tho, and I think if we can establish a consistent group we'll have np snagging flawless victories on the 1st wing. And at the very least it's a good opportunity to get some toons badges and rep. ^-^

If there's some hesitation for signing up for that sorta thing, I completely understand and have NP whatsoever pugging out any free spots

Nah, no problem with that, we just need to try and avoid pulling in people pulling 1K. *COUGH* Chicken form Straynights *COUGH*.

Oh also for next time we do Deathbringer Saurafang shwee.

Absorbs such as Power Word: Shield no longer prevent Blood Power from being gained when damage is dealt by Saurfang. Casting Power Word: Shield is not a bad thing to do as the ability will absorb the damage dealt. This was an intentional 3.3.2 change. We also removed the ability to knockback the Blood Beasts off the platform and the removed of Blood Power gain from Mark of the Fallen Champion damage. We unfortunately missed getting these changes into the patch notes.

"
the removed of Blood Power gain from Mark of the Fallen Champion damage"

Daelo's english is kind of terrible, but I think that means that Saurfang no longer gains Blood power from Mark of the fallen champion.
